涙を誘う風景−−火星の探査機

火星に下りたNASAの探査機が、運行保証期限を1年7ヶ月も上回ってまだ活動をしているという。以前からこの探査機が送ってくる映像には、独特の孤独感と、なんというかその孤独を静かに生き抜くドライな感覚があって好きなのだが、こういう記事を見ると妙に感情移入してしまう。いや、機械だから、向うに感情はないんだけど。火星、行ってみたいなぁ。
